I went to the department and because of my MS my legs weren't working very well at all. They helped me get changed for the procedure and after, they also organised a porter to come and take me to the car park
They were extremely helpful and thoughtful particularly when I was so upset that I couldn't walk or use my legs.

I was on this ward for just one night and have no complaints. I cannot think of anything that needs to be improved.
Thank you for all for the care I received when I was at Queen Alexandra hospital. All the staff were very kind and caring and work very hard to look after us patients. I salute you all too during this pandemic for your bravery and dedication in continuing to look after us all and putting your own lives at risk. Thank you.
I was treated as an nhs patient at Spire hospital in Havant for a urology procedure last week. Everything went smoothly and I was discharged on the same day. Unfortunately I had cause to call the emergency number the following day as I was suffering severe pain from bladder spasms, caused by an in dwelling catheter. I was not told that I might suffer this problem by the staff at Spire. When I called Spire, they basically told me “not our problem, sorry.” Call 111, which I did. They in turn told me to call my GP. I did this and was told I had to submit an online form with my symptoms and they would get back to me. To say I felt like being fobbed off by everybody is an understatement. However, my surgery did call me within 15 minutes and prescribed some medication to relieve the pain and spasms. I would not recommend going into Spire for any procedure. Private or NHS.
The drs and nurses were all very kind and professional
My care from the moment I was picked up by the ambulance crew was nothing short of exceptional!
All the staff were professional and competent and at the same time were friendly, helpful and reassuring particularly in F4 ward.
Nothing needs to be improved the staff were very friendly and understanding with my situation and there doing a fantastic job under the pressure they are in
Staff was wonderful despite the Corona crisis building
I was admitted via AAnd E on Tuesday after sustained breathing difficulties which I had never experienced before. For the past two days whilst I understand the exceptional circumstances we are working in and I am grateful for all care given Communication has been poor and there could have been significantly more compassion from some people. Others were very kind. It’s just worth remembering that a smile and even asking how are you feeling today goes a long way. I am mostly blind and yet all staff approached me from the side I had explained has no sight despite providing written information about this in A and E I had a whole day where the pharmacy said I needed to get an item through my GP a dr say that I didn’t need it snd was then prescribed it. I asked at 10 am how a blind covid patient would get home and despite my discharge still don’t know how it will happen. Communication and planning ahead has been poor but I still thank everyone and wish them well. Elizabeth Printer
